Our first time parasailing and it was FANTASTIC!!!! Lee and Lee were our boat captain and assistant. Both made everyone on board feel at ease. Lee securely strapped each person and all the equipment was in very good condition. The view and the ride is an unbelievable, serene, peaceful experience. What a great experience  ! Seen a couple of Dolphins but entire experience  from beginning to end was exceptional  Tim and Lee do a great job, welcoming  and entertaining  everyone. What Is a Destin Jet Ski Dolphin Tour?

Our Destin jet ski dolphin tours are a 1.5-hour guided experience aboard Yamaha 4-stroke WaveRunners. A lead captain pilots- change wording away from captain since they are not licensed captains- ahead of the group, navigating to areas where bottlenose dolphins are most active. You follow on your own ski, riding the emerald-green water of the Gulf-side bay and watching for the splashes, fins, and tail-slaps that give the pods away. Two or three riders share a ski, and every group is briefed before launch so first-timers feel confident from the dock onward.

Unlike a pontoon or charter cruise, the jet ski format lets you reposition quickly when a pod surfaces — and the close-to-the-water perspective is hard to match.

USCG-Certified Captains

Every guided jet ski dolphin tour is led by a U.S. Coast Guard–certified captain. Equipment is inspected daily by our in-house mechanics, so the ski you ride is in top condition before it ever leaves the dock.

Family-Friendly and Beginner-Friendly

First time on a jet ski? You are in good company. The bay is calm, the route is guided, and your captain handles the route-finding. Passengers can be as young as 5 (with parent/guardian-signed waiver), as long as they can hold on to the driver and wear a life jacket. Drivers must be 18 or older.

What to Expect on Your Dolphin Tour

Plan to arrive 45 minutes before your scheduled departure so you have time to park, check in, sign waivers, and receive your safety briefing. Once you are geared up, your guide leads the group out through the no-wake zone and into the open bay. From there, it is about scanning the water — pelicans diving, ripples on the surface, and the unmistakable shape of a dorsal fin breaking through. The guide will idle the group whenever a pod surfaces, giving you time to watch (and grab a photo) without disturbing the animals.

You will also pass by Crab Island and the surrounding sandbars. Sea turtles, manatees, and stingrays make appearances throughout the season, so keep your eyes open beyond just the dolphins.

Who Can Join — Requirements and Restrictions

• Driver age: Must be 18 or older and have a valid government-issued photo ID
• Boater’s safety certificate: Required for drivers born on or after January 1, 1988. The online Florida boater safety course can be taken anytime before your reservation and offers unlimited attempts.
• Passenger age: Minimum age 5, must be able to hold on to the driver, and must wear a life jacket at all times
• Health restrictions: Per insurance, riders who are pregnant or have current/prior neck or back issues cannot ride
• Alcohol: Strictly no alcohol before or during a jet ski tour
