Parking

Destin X (214 Harbor Blvd): on-site customer parking covers one vehicle per booking, first come, first served. Extra cars park free at 310 Mountain Drive or for $15 at 285 US-98 W; RVs and trailers use the paid public lot across the street.

Xtreme H2O (7 Calhoun Ave): public parking sits at the Destin Marina right beside the dock — it fills up on peak days, so ride together when you can.

Gilligan’s Watersports (530 Harbor Blvd): free parking on the property, first come, first served, with overflow spaces at 531 Mountain Drive.

Xtreme H2O Fort Walton Beach (169 Brooks St SE): customer parking on site for one vehicle per reservation, first come, first served — carpooling is smart on high-volume days.

Check-In

Driving? Get ahead of the line: take the Florida temporary boater test online before you arrive — every driver born on or after January 1, 1988 needs the certificate, and finishing it early makes check-in easier and faster. The $3 NASBLA test is also offered right at the dock if you’d rather; just budget extra time. Then be dockside 45 minutes before your rental with a photo ID for every driver — the crew handles life jackets and the safety rundown.

Pack smart: reef-safe sunscreen, a hat that stays put, a waterproof pouch for your phone, and a small soft-sided cooler — leave the glass at home.
