Seeing a Fireworks show for the Fourth of July
Being a beach destination, we do it big for the 4th of July, with a grand fireworks show.In Destin, there are so many places to go view the fireworks, such as the HarborWalk Village. If you are wanting to go somewhere that has food, then go check out the Destin Commons. The shopping center hosts a Star-Spangled Food Truck Festival & Fireworks for July 4th. There are about 25 different food trucks on the site during this time, so everyone in your party will be able to find something to try. Then you can sit back and enjoy the fireworks on this fine Independence Day!
Big Kahuna’s Water Park
If you are in the mood to take a break from the pool or the beach, we found the best alternative that still involves playing around in the water. Big Kahuna’s Water Park is just perfect for any July visit! There are so many activities to do at Big Kahuna’s! Some options you can choose from include the waterslides, lazy river, and the wave pool. Each of the rides has a height requirement, so for any little ones, make sure that you check and see if they’re tall enough! There is an abundance of kid-friendly areas in the water park that have activities your little one can participate in if they’re not tall enough for the other rides. Put on your swimsuit and head over to Big Kahuna’s Water Park!
Uncle Buck’s FishBowl and Grill
Have you ever wanted to go bowling underwater? Then Uncle Buck’s FishBowl and Grill is the perfect spot for you. This place is a combination of a bowling alley and a restaurant. Once inside, you’ll find that there’s an underwater feel! Sounds cool, right? Even the bowling alley docks include animals like sharks, stingrays, octopuses, and more. While you are bowling, you can check out the menu for some grub. The Destin location consists of typical food you would get at a bowling alley, such as fried items. But there is a twist as since you are in Destin, with some great seafood options. At Uncle Buck’s FishBowl and Grill, you can also have a sit-down dining experience, unlike other bowling alleys. The amount of attractions Urban Air Adventure Park has are suitable for visitors of all ages. Attractions and activities include a trampoline park, laser tag, and obstacle courses.
